Love In the Valley
A mysterious new farmer is in town. They're silent, rich, and super hot. The spring flower dance is only a week away! Can you win their affections and score a date with them to the dance?
Stardew Valley meets Monster Prom in this visual novel! You can play as Sebastian or Abigail and visit Cindersap Forest and Town Square. This is a fan project with a group of volunteers who liked the idea on TikTok. If you want to help us expand it in the future (more characters, more locations, more scenes), feel free to reach out!
Each character has three possible endings. Can you unlock them all?
Also worth mentioning, this is fan art, so we don't want to profit off it! It's free to play here, we ask that you don't download or distribute it elsewhere. <3 We hope you love it!

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how to get Sebastian's secret ending? I got all three of Abigail's endings and the other two endings for Sebastian pretty easily, but despite having tried what feels like every possible dialogue option, I can't seem to get his third

I hope there will be updates where we can play this for a longer amount of time, visit all the places, talk to everyone in town more than once! Love it though!
Great game, it was just a black screen for a while but i just had to wait a bit for it to load, it took like 10-13 minutes but it loaded!

I saw this game on Instagram and thought it looked adorable. It only took me two tries to get the date with the farmer, but that had more to do with luck than anything else. I loved meeting the other characters, and will try for the secret ending. Wish me luck!

Super sweet. The art is lovely, and it really captures the characters well. I played as Abigail and won the farmer's heart- I especially liked the little scene between Abigail and her mum when speaking about the Flower Dance.

Absolutely delightful! Charming, well-made, and loyal to the Stardew spirit and characters! This is such a tremendous service to the community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, from one fan to another. I'd love to get a version where you can choose to be other bachelor/ettes, but it is perfect the way it is.

This game is so cute and fun, I do hope that maybe one day there will be more content. But for such a short game it truly is cute and well designed :)
Stardew Valley was already wholesome but the appeal to be able to look through the world in the view of the bachelor/rettes is pretty interesting and cool! I adore the art, so comfy and nice looking, as well as containing a nice story itself! Looking forward if there is any updates regarding this Visual Novel but other than that, ya'll did a great job with this one!

I would love to play this game but not matter if I am on Chrome or Explorer, I cannot go pass day 2 dialogs for sebastian it stop when the farmer appears while Abigail just saw marnie (I play on Pc) :(

I've learned that people have that issue when they try to launch from the itch.io app, please use Google Chrome instead! It is not available for download.
An update! I think I may have fixed this issue in the itch app. If you install the new build, it should work now!
as a long time fan of both series, i loved this game!

The game starts perfectly fine, however the forest seems to be a bit cursed. On the first day I went to the forest and met Robin, the conversation doesn't move forward after Sebastian says "Mom!". Sebastians sprite moves back like it would if it became Robins turn to speak, but she doesn't? The game just freezes. This also happens if I go to the forest on day two and meet the farmer, am I missing something?
I think the artstyle is really cute and I like the concept, so I'm going to try playing without touching the forest.
Edit: The screen freezes on day two no matter where I go.
What browser are you using? Is there any error message on screen or in the dev tools console? I'm not able to reproduce that, so I'm not sure how to debug it!

So cute! I initially went into this thinking that it was going to be a horror game (strange newbie moves to town, never speaks to anyone, mysteriously appears behind you when you're out in the woods alone, etc.), but this is a cute take! I deeply appreciate the thought and care that went into this. Would love a $full game$ if you all ever got around to it and had the time/money/energy! Thanks for all your hard work!
